Amazing Rares Rayquaza and Jirachi, Zarude V from ‘Legendary Heartbeat’ Revealed!

The first cards from Legendary Heartbeat have been revealed in CoroCoro magazine – and two of them are the set’s Amazing Rare cards! Thanks goes to Arantxa T. and ToineLay for the translations!

Zarude V – Grass – HP210
Basic Pokemon

[C][C] Bind Down: 50 damage. Your opponent’s Active Pokemon can’t retreat during your opponent’s next turn.

[G][G] Jungle Rise: 100 damage. You may attach up to 2 Basic Energy cards from your hand to your Benched Pokemon in any way you like. Heal all damage from those Pokemon.

When your Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Jirachi – Metal – HP70
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Dream Oracle
Once during your turn, if this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon, you may look at the top 2 cards of your deck. Put 1 of them into your hand and return the other 1 on top of your deck.

[P][F][M] Amazing Star: Search your deck for up to 7 Basic Energy cards and attach them to your Pokemon in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.

[G][L][F] Amazing Burst: 80x damage. Discard all basic Energy from this Pokemon. This attack does 80 damage for each type of basic Energy you discarded in this way.

Amazing Rares do not appear to have any special game rules. They seem to be strong cards with unique attack costs and individual rainbow patterns around the artwork to reflect this.

As posted back in February:

Legendary Heartbeat will feature 76 cards and release on July 10th. This is the same day as the movie Pokemon Koko, meaning this will be a movie-themed set.

The set will feature Celebi, Zacian, Zamazenta, and other Mythical and Legendary Pokemon. It’s likely it will also feature the unrevealed Mythical Pokemon from Pokemon Koko.

The set will introduce a new type of rarity named “Amazing Rare.” Amazing Rares will feature powerful attacks, but your opponent will only take one Prize card.

The set will become part of our annual holiday set this year.

The Legendary Heartbeat box set featuring Marnie has also been revealed. It comes with two booster boxes of the set, a pack of 64 card sleeves, a deck box, a coin, and a box that holds 700 cards. It will release on July 10th with the set. The contents will also be sold separately.
