‘Darkness Ablaze’ Store Promo Distributions, Copperajah Dynamax Crystal at Gamestop!

From Friday through August 31st, Gamestop in the U.S. and E.B. Games in Canada will be giving out a special non-holo version of Copperajah from Darkness Ablaze Sword & Shield. The stores will require you to spend $15 on Pokemon TCG products to receive the card.

Gamestop will also allow you to scan a code through the Pokemon Pass app to get a Dynamax Crystal for Copperajah in Sword and Shield. You can then encounter a Gigantamax Copperajah.

But this isn’t the only Darkness Ablaze promo distribution!

For the first time ever, Pokemon’s U.S. and Canadian marketing kits will come with 100 promo cards for hobby stores to give out to fans. These kits can only be purchased by hobby stores and are limited to one per store. They allow stores to promote the TCG with items like posters, calendars, brochures, and stickers.

The kits haven’t been sent out by distributors yet, but they will contain Hydreigon promo cards. Presumably it will be a special holo version of Hydreigon, but this is just speculation for now. We’ll let you know as soon as we find out! This is the kit’s official teaser image:

Internationally, the Darkness Ablaze store promo will be a special holo version of Corviknight with a Darkness Ablaze set stamp. So far the promotion is confirmed for Game Mania stores in the Netherlands, Gamestop stores in Italy, and PicWicToys in France.

Game UK was offering a jumbo version of Eternatus V with a Darkness Ablaze stamp if you purchased certain bundles of Pokemon TCG products from their website. However, the promotion quickly ended and was not available anywhere else.
