Pikachu VMAX, Orbeetle VMAX from ‘Shocking Volt Tackle’ Revealed!
S4 Shocking Volt Tackle has officially been revealed! As we previously reported, it’s Japan’s fourth Sword & Shield series set and will release on September 18th. It will feature 100 cards (excluding secret rares).
The booster pack artwork shows Leon’s Charizard and Galarian Sirfetch’d, so they will be in the set. This set may be where our Galarian Sirfetch’d V promo is coming from.
As usual, Pokemon Center stores will be selling a box that contains two booster boxes of the set, a deck box, and card sleeves. This time they’ll feature Leon and his Charizard:

Basic Pokemon[G] Flatter: 20 damage. You may switch this Pokemon with 1 of your Benched Pokemon.
[G][C] Mystery Wave: 50+ damage. This attack does 30 more damage for each Energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokemon.

This card stays in play when you play it. Discard this card if another Stadium card comes into play. If another card with the same name is in play, you can’t play this card.
Pokemon Center stores will be holding a campaign where you can get a Pikachu promo pack for every six booster packs of Shocking Volt Tackle you purchase. Each pack will contain one of five Pikachu promo cards:

The other non-holo Pikachu promos are reprints from the Sun & Moon era, which is why they’re printed on the older card templates. But they have new Sword & Shield promo numbering and the Shocking Volt Tackle set stamp.
