Charizard 2020 Illustrator Promo Unveiled, New TCG Accessories Featuring Bea!

Two months ago Creatures selected Jiro Sasumo’s Charizard artwork as the winner of their 2020 illustrator’s contest. They have now unveiled the promo card that will feature his artwork. Thanks goes to Arantxa T. for the translation!

Starting October 23rd, Japanese fans can receive the promo if they purchase any five booster packs from Pokemon Center and Target stores. It’s unlikely the promo will be released overseas. (But then again, it is mothertrucking Charizard!)

Japanese fans can also receive two copies of the promo if they purchase a new “Rubber Playmat Set Bea” box. The package will feature Bea and come with 64 card sleeves, a deck box, a rubber playmat, and a cardboard box to hold it all. It will release on October 23rd.
