Three Pokemon Trademarks for Future Sets Possibly Discovered!

We have discovered three new trademarks filed by Pokemon: Matchless Fighter (双璧のファイター), Silver Lance (白銀のランス), and Jet-Black Spirit (漆黒のガイスト).

These trademarks are filed under the same scope as previous trademarks for set names, so these may be upcoming Pokemon TCG sets. Trademarks are usually discovered five to six months in advance. So if these are sets, they would release around March if precedent holds true. This lines up with the March set release we learned about the other day.

We’ve never seen trademarks for three sets filed at the same time. Set trademarks are always filed together when they release together, like in the case of Single Strike Master and Rapid Strike Master. So we’re not sure what’s going on here. Maybe Pokemon filed a bunch of future set names at the same time? At this point we simply don’t know.

Could the names be referring to Gigantamax Machamp, Gigantamax Melmetal or Duraludon, and Gigantamax Gengar?
