TCG Trademarks for ‘High Class Pack’ and ‘High Class Deck’ Filed!

Two new trademarks have been filed for the Pokemon TCG — “High Class Pack” and “High Class Deck.”

“High Class Pack” precedes the titles of special sets like TAG All Stars or GX Ultra Shiny, the latter of which became our Hidden Fates. It’s been used many times in the past. “High Class Deck” hasn’t really been used before.

We’re not sure if these will be specific sets / products or if it’s simply a way for Pokemon to trademark its product terminology. Usually trademarks are discovered five to six months before they’re used on products. This means we would see products with these titles around summertime.

There will be a special 25th anniversary set in America this fall, so these trademarks could have something to do with it.
