Flapple Promo Giveaway at Gamestop, Gigantamax Flapple Event Likely Coming!

We’ve received word Gamestop will be giving out Flapple TCG promos starting March 19th! This is the same day Battle Styles releases. You can get the promo with a purchase of $15 in Pokemon TCG merchandise.

We don’t know what Flapple card will be given out yet, but we will receive photos within the next few days. If it’s anything like Copperajah’s or Centiskorch’s promotions, it’ll be a non-holo version of Flapple from Rebel Clash. This would make it a unique non-holo print. But we’ll find out soon!

Update (11 AM): We’ve received a photo of the card — it has a special Gamestop stamp! This makes it the first Gamestop-stamped promo ever!

It’s also likely Gamestop will give out codes for Gigantamax Flapple, as they’ve done for several of the Pokemon they’ve promoted. If so, Gamestop will also allow you to scan a code through the Pokemon Pass app to get a Dynamax Crystal for Flapple. You can then encounter a Gigantamax Flapple at Watchtower Lair.

Gamestop was previously headed for bankruptcy, but was brought back to life thanks to Reddit users beating Wall Street at its own game. So it’s possible we’ll get more Gamestop promotions in the future!
