Nintendo Switch OLED Model Announced for October!
Nintendo has announced a new version of the Nintendo Switch featuring an OLED screen! It will release on October 8th for $350.
The screen is 7 inches, which is 0.8 inches larger than the original version. OLED screens use less power than traditional LED screens and feature deeper blacks.
The unit will have a wide adjustable stand so you can place it at any angle, a wired LAN port for a faster Internet connection, enhanced audio, and 64GB of internal storage (up from 32 GB).
The unit will still be limited to 720p when in handheld mode and 1080p when docked to a TV.
This update will come two years after the Switch Lite, which was released in September 2019 for $200.
