‘Brilliant Stars’ is February’s English Pokemon TCG Set!
We can now reveal the next English set will be named Sword & Shield – Brilliant Stars!
It will release on February 25th. Prereleases will take place from February 12th through 20th.
The set will be based on Japan’s Star Birth set, which releases in January and features 100 cards before secret rares. It will introduce the new VSTAR mechanic.
Our English set will feature 172 cards before secret rares. Arceus V and Arceus VSTAR (#123/172) will be the stars of the set. The set symbol features Arceus’s mandala.
Our English set may also incorporate the unique cards from VMAX Climax and Start Deck 100. Those extra 72 cards have to come from somewhere! My initial guess is they’ll come from Start Deck 100, which features 414 cards, and then the cards from VMAX Climax will become part of 2022’s holiday set.

Basic Pokemon[C][C] Trinity Charge: Search your deck for up to 3 basic Energy cards and attach them to your Pokemon V in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.
[C][C][C] Power Edge: 130 damage.
When your Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Arceus VSTAR – Colorless – HP280
VSTAR – Evolves from Arceus V[C][C][C] Trinity Nova: 200 damage. Search your deck for up to 3 basic Energy cards and attach them to your Pokemon V in any way you like. Then, shuffle your deck.
Ability (VSTAR Power): Starbirth
During your turn, you may search your deck for up to 2 cards and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. (You can’t use more than 1 VStar Power in a game.)When your Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
