Pokemon Leagues to Resume Next Week!

TPCi has informed League Organizers that Pokemon Leagues can resume on June 7th in the United States! The announcement was sent via e-mail this morning. Approved Leagues may also host Prerelease events again.

The same announcement was also sent to Organizers in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.

Pokemon Leagues and Play! Pokemon events were cancelled in March 2020 due to the pandemic.

Dear Retailers and Professors,

We are delighted to announce that in-person Play! Pokémon League events are planned to resume in USA starting June 7, 2022.

Starting June 7, 2022, Leagues may resume regular League play sessions, and approved Leagues may run in-store Prerelease events.

At this time, small local-level Championship Point events will remain suspended until further notice. We are closely monitoring health guidelines and recommendations from appropriate government and health agencies to determine when it is safe for our community to resume these events. Please keep an eye on our website for more information on when these events may resume.
