Kyogre V, Enamorus, and Next Set of Gym Promos Revealed!

The next set of Gym promos has been revealed for Japan! As usual, players who attend Gym tournaments will receive a one-card promo pack containing one of seven promo cards. All players will also receive a reverse holo, stamped Cyllene.

Sunkern – Grass – HP40
Basic Pokemon

[C][C] Seed Bomb: 20 damage.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Seel – Water – HP70
Basic Pokemon

[W] Headbutt: 10 damage.

[W][C] Wave Splash: 20 damage.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Kyogre V – Water – HP230
Basic Pokemon

[W][C][C] Dual Splash: This attack does 50 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Pokemon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.)

[W][C][C][C] Aqua Typhoon: 210 damage. This Pokemon can’t use Aqua Typhoon during your next turn.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 3

Eelektrik – Lightning – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Tynamo

Ability: Emergence Shock
Once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand to evolve a Pokemon, you may flip a coin. If heads, your opponent’s Active Pokemon is now Paralyzed.

[L] Static: 30 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Enamorus – Psychic – HP120
Basic Pokemon

[P] Drain Kiss: 20 damage. Heal 20 damage from this Pokemon.

[P][C][C] Love Sympathy: 70+ damage. If you have the same number of cards in your hand as your opponent, this attack does 70 more damage.

Weakness: Metal (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Metang – Metal – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Beldum

[M][C] Bullet Punch: 30+ damage. Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 more damage for each heads.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Grass (-30)
Retreat: 2

Digging Duo – Trainer
Supporter

Flip a coin. If heads, look at 8 cards from the bottom of your deck. If tails, look at 3 cards from the bottom of your deck. Then choose 1 card, put it into your hand, and shuffle the other cards back into your deck.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.

Oh, we’re getting a Metang! Seeing that, I suppose we’ll get a Metagross, hopefully a good one at that- love to see it!!!!
On the other hand, I kinda wish I could forget Enamorus existed. Very cool we get a physical non RuleBox CardDex entry for Enamorus though, helpful for all who want to make a Nat Dex in card form! Can see the card being a normal Rare in packs.
 
Which do you reckon is a completely new card? Sometimes there is one beyond the Trainer and the V card.

Sunkern has been revealed. It doesn't make sense for it to be Eelektrik or Metang.

Enamorus probably? Seel should be in the set.

Yeah, more than likely it is Enamorus.
 
Digging Duo - clearly the translators didn't play Sword & Shield, not knowing who are those two. These guys gave you some goodies, in exchange of Watts. By the way, it gets you cards that you need. 3

Kyogre V - ok. 3-4

Eelektrik - FCO Servine, never saw play. So why do expect this to Eelektrik? 3

Enamorus - nah good. 2-3
