Release Schedule and Details Revealed for Upcoming Japanese Sets!
We’ve received the product schedule Pokemon sends to its retailers in Japan!
As posted before, Triple Beat will release on March 10th. This will be Japan’s first Scarlet & Violet subset.
Snow Hazard and Clay Burst will release on April 14th. We speculated they would feature Chien-Pao ex and Ting-Lu ex of the “Treasures of Ruin” Legendaries, but this isn’t confirmed yet.
Iono will be featured in Clay Burst as both a full art and special illustration rare. She is the Electric-type Gym Leader of Levincia Gym in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Iono will also get a Gym set on April 14th. The package will include a booster box of Snow Hazard, a booster box of Clay Burst, a set of card sleeves, a deck box, and a card storage box. It will retail for 12,800 yen. The configuration is similar to past Gym sets.
An “ex Special Set” for Snow Burst and Clay Hazard will release on May 19th. Similar to July’s “VSTAR Special Set,” it should come with new Pokemon ex promos and packs of each set.
As we reported before, Pokemon Card 151 will release on June 16th. It’s expected to feature the first 151 Pokemon, including Kadabra.
Pokemon’s release schedule also confirmed that the “ex Starter Decks” will release on July 7th.
And for completeness sake, we discovered a trademark for Raging Surf last month. This may release in July or August based on the above schedule.
