Ampharos ex and Lucario ex “ex Battle Decks” in May!

New “ex Battle Decks” featuring Ampharos ex or Lucario ex from Scarlet & Violet will release on May 5th. They will cost $9.99 each.

These are the obvious successors to V Battle Decks. Like them, each package will come with:

  • 1 ready to play 60-card deck
  • 3 reference cards
  • 1 rules booklet
  • Single-player playmat
  • Damage counters
  • 1 large metallic coin
  • 1 deck box
  • 1 Quick Guide to unlock the strategies within
  • 1 code card to unlock this deck in Pokemon TCG Live

These decks are cheaper than before! The last V Battle Decks featured Zeraora V or Deoxys V and released in October 2022. They cost $14.99, which is $5 more than Ampharos and Lucario’s.

These are Level 1 products intended for beginners.

Ampharos ex – Lightning – HP330
Stage 2 – Evolves from Flaaffy

[L] Elec-ball: 60 damage.

[L][C][C] Lightning Tail: 140+ damage. You may discard 2 Energy from this Pokemon. If you do, this attack does 100 more damage.

Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Lucario ex – Fighting – HP260
Stage 1 – Evolves from Riolu

[F][C] Low Kick: 60 damage.

[F][F][C] Aura Sphere: 160 damage. This attack does 50 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon (don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon).

Pokemon ex rule: When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
