Four Special Pokemon TCG Art Exhibitions Announced for Worlds!

Pokemon is already taking over the city of Yokohama during this year’s Worlds. But now The Pokemon Company has announced there will be special Pokemon TCG art exhibitions throughout Yokohama all summer-long!

The project will be called “Pokemon Card Art Walk.” Four exhibitions will be on display at various locations in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai district, which is in the same area where Worlds will be held. You’ll want to add these exhibits to your travel itinerary if you’re going to Worlds.

I will be sure to write a report for fans who are unable to attend Worlds this year.

Pokemon Card 151 Illustration Collection
Description: 151 card illustrations of the Pokemon from Pokemon Card 151 will be displayed.
Dates: June 27th – September 30th
Location: “MARK IS Minatomirai” Building

Pokemon Card Art Walk
Description: Enjoy over 1,000 large-scale illustrations of Pokemon cards!
Dates: August 1st – September 30th
Locations: Grand Mall Park, Landmark Plaza, Queen’s Square Yokohama

Pokemon Card Art Museum
Description: Over 1,000 actual Pokemon cards will be displayed together.
Dates: July 15 – September 30th
Location: Sky Building (10th Floor)

Pokemon Card Legendary Corridor
Description: Special oversized cards of Legendary Pokemon that reproduce the texture and glitter of their cards will be on display.
Dates: July 15 – September 30th
Location: Landmark Plaza (3rd floor, Public corridor)

Worlds 2023 will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center in Yokohama, Japan from August 11th to August 13th. For a list of official Pokemon events taking place around the event dates, check out this news story.
