“Road to Worlds” Official Pokemon TCG Documentary Released, But Originally Planned for Netflix
TPCi has produced a 4-episode documentary about a group of players attempting to compete in Worlds 2022. Each 25 minute episode can be watched below from YouTube.
Last year we quietly learned TPCi produced several live action TV series, including this one and “How Do You Play?” TPCi attempted to shop them to streaming services like Netflix. However, it appears they weren’t able to find them a home, leading TPCi to releasing them on YouTube. It’s unclear if they will release the other content they filmed, or if they’ll attempt to produce more series like this in the future.
Pokemon Concierge was ultimately picked up by Netflix. More details about that series will be announced this weekend at Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
