“ex Battle Decks” Featuring Kangaskhan ex and Greninja ex Revealed for October!

New “ex Battle Decks” featuring Greninja ex and Kangaskhan ex have been revealed! They will release on October 6th for $9.99 each.

The backs of the decks also reveal some new cards from Obsidian Flames / Ruler of the Black Flame, including Bouffalant, Zigzagoon, Linoone, and Shuckle. The Japanese set should be revealed tonight, so we’ll see their full reveals soon.

Kangkashan ex (promo #055) is an alternate art promo that hasn’t been seen in Japan yet. Its original print comes from Pokemon Card 151. Perhaps this new print will release in Japan’s Shiny Treasure at the end of the year.

Greninja ex (promo #054) would have released in Obsidian Flames, but it’ll be cut from the set and turned into a promo for this deck. This was the same case for Tinkaton ex, Lucario ex, and Ampharos ex, which were cut from their sets because of their own ex Battle Decks.
