Flamigo ex, Tyme, Quagsire, and New Gym Promos Revealed for January!

The next set of Gym promos will be given out in Japan starting January 26th. Players who attend Gym tournaments will receive a 1-card promo pack containing one of seven promo cards.

The chase card will be Flamigo ex. In English, we should get it inside a future “ex Box” or within a set. It probably won’t release here for at least six months.

Four of the promos are brand new. The rest are reprints.

Wooper – Water – HP60
Basic Pokemon

[W] Draw Water: Shuffle up to 3 Basic [W] Energy cards from your discard pile into your deck.

[W] Headbutt: 10 damage

Quagsire – Water – HP120
Stage 1 – Evolves from Wooper

[W] Rollout: 30 damage.

[W][C][C] Drenched Noggin: 80x damage. Discard the top 3 cards of your deck. This attack does 80 damage for each Energy card you discarded in this way.

Flamigo ex – Colorless – HP200
Basic Pokemon

[C][C] Exact Beak: 30+ damage. If this Pokémon and your opponent’s Active Pokémon have the same number of Energy attached, this attack does 100 more damage.

[C][C][C][C] Brave Bird: 200 damage. This Pokémon does 30 damage to itself.

When 1 of your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Tyme – Trainer
Supporter

Put a Pokémon from your hand face down in front of you and tell your opponent its name. They guess the HP of that Pokémon, and then you reveal it. If your opponent guessed right, they draw 4 cards. If they guessed wrong, you draw 4 cards. Return the Pokémon to your hand.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.

All participants will also receive a reverse holo Rika promo with a Gym stamp.
