“Temporal Forces” Set Guide: Card List, Secret Rares, Cut Cards, Products, and More!
We now have the complete set list for Scarlet & Violet – Temporal Forces!
Temporal Forces consists of 218 cards: 162 in the main set and 56 secret rare cards.
This makes it the smallest regular set of the Scarlet & Violet era and the smallest regular set since 2021’s Battle Styles.
The set list was entirely predictable a month ago. The cards from our set originate from Japan’s Wild Force & Cyber Judge, their accompanying Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex Decks, and a single promo card in the form of Scovillain ex.
Temporal Forces re-introduces ACE SPEC cards to the Pokemon TCG. Because they are so powerful, you can only have one ACE SPEC card in your deck. The new ACE SPEC cards feature a pink card template and a new holofoil style. This time around they can also be Special Energy cards.
ACE SPEC cards were first introduced in 2012’s Black & White: Boundaries Crossed. They ran for four sets until 2013’s Plasma Blast. Only 13 of them released. They were all Item cards.
For Temporal Forces, it’s possible to pull an ACE SPEC and an Illustration Rare from the same booster pack. The ACE SPEC card is found in the first reverse holo slot and the Illustration Rare in the second.
A “Build & Battle Stadium” will not release for this set. We’ve also confirmed there won’t be one for our May set, Twilight Masquerade. It seems they have been discontinued. They were first introduced with 2021’s Evolving Skies.
Some fans viewed them as an unpopular product, as they cost $20 more than a “Build & Battle Box” for only a few extra booster packs and a brick of basic Energy cards.
“Build & Battle Boxes” will still release. Each box included a preconstructed 40-card deck, four Temporal Forces booster packs, and one of four prerelease promo cards.
In the past we would normally get a new set in February, but the release of January’s special Paldean Fates means Temporal Forces was pushed to March. However, we will be back on schedule with May’s Twilight Masquerade set.
As posted before, Temporal Forces will release on March 22nd. Prereleases will take place from March 9th to 17th. You can use Pokemon.com’s event locator to find one near you.

“Temporal Forces” Prerelease Promos
The Temporal Forces prerelease promos are Feraligatr (SV089), Metang (SV090), Koraidon (SV091), and Miraidon (SV092). They feature new alternate artwork that hasn’t been seen in Japan yet. You can get one of them in the set’s “Build & Battle Box.”
