“Paradise Dragona” Set Name Trademarked for the Pokemon TCG!
A new trademark for Paradise Dragona (楽園ドラゴーナ) has been filed by Pokemon Japan. It’s under the same terms as trademarks used for set names in the past.
The set will obviously feature Dragon-type Pokemon, not to mention it’s currently the Year of the Dragon. Perhaps it will be headlined by Hydrapple ex, who saw its pre-evolution, Dipplin, introduced in Crimson Haze. It could also feature Archaludon ex, who was introduced as the new Steel/Dragon evolution of Duraludon in The Indigo Disk.
Currently the only other future sets we know about are Night Wanderer releasing on June 8th featuring the Loyal Three as Pokemon ex and Stellar Miracle releasing on July 19th featuring Terapagos ex and a new Stellar Tera type. On August 30th two pre-constructed decks will also release featuring Stellar Sylveon ex and Stellar Ceruledge ex.
Based on the current set schedule, we could see Paradise Dragona release in Japan this September or October.
