All “Pokemon TCG Pocket” Information and “Genetic Apex” Cards Revealed So Far!

I have written two pages covering everything revealed about Pokemon TCG Pocket and its first set, Genetic Apex.

For example, we now know decks will consist of 20 cards. We’ve also seen blurry card reveals of Venusaur ex, Blastoise ex, and more.

The pages will be updated whenever new Pocket information is revealed.

As usual, all news will be posted here to the front page.

Only 20 cards? That’s not a lot of room for deckbuilding skill imo, but we’ll see. I bet there will be like a 2 card limit or something and not much card draw to increase skill expression while keeping things pretty simple and increasing the impact of individual card pulls from packs

It is designed to be a lighter, faster, and simpler alternative to the real PTCG. I've heard games only last 5-10 minutes at most, so think of it as a game to pass the time like Marvel Snap instead of a game you go very sweaty at.

sounds rad ngl. The most fun I had in YEARS with the tcg was using "half-decks" in XY. 30 cards, 2 in a playset. Easier to collect and to work into a deck. Each deck is ~10 good card choices. It works really well, honestly.

Oh I'm happy to answer. They are used by whales as speculative investments and by the Pokemon Company as gambling crack.

Harsh, but I wouldn't write it off as completely false. I still have the price spike for Morty's Conviction from right after EUIC 2024 fresh in my head. One group of guys scheming can turn a $30 card into a $80 card, and it would've worked if someone didn't blow the whistle on the buyer.
