All Nine of 2024’s Connected Art Cards, Drawn by Teeziro!

In case you didn’t notice, this year’s nine “connected art” cards are being drawn by Teeziro:

The first card released in March’s Temporal Forces and the last few will release in November’s Surging Sparks:

Togetic was recently revealed and now we know Spheal will be the final card. Last night the Japanese Pokemon Center revealed new card sleeves that feature the full illustration.

Last year the TCG introduced the concept of releasing nine cards across multiple sets to complete an illustration. They were all drawn by HYOGONOSUKE:

It seems we’ll be getting a new set of nine cards every year from now on! They’ll release throughout the year across multiple sets.

If anyone could find high resolution picture of that Slowpoke, I would be so thankful! I want to use it as my lock-screen. Just looking at that face makes my day better.

If we want to get really technical, the 9 cards to make 1 piece was introduced in Crown Zenith
they did phrase it to say 9 cards to make 1 piece “across multiple sets” though, so hyogonosuke’s is still the first one of those, since saitou’s crown zenith piece was all from one set

I thought something was weird about the positioning of Vibrava on the card, and I thought I recognized the wind effects on the Togetic from somewhere. Last time it was the more evening-like lighting and the rock formations on the Swablu and Gligar that started a nagging itch at the back of my mind... now I think I have a better idea of what to look out for going forward.

Similarly it was the wind that sealed the deal for me but that dudunsparce with the weird “pockets” on each side of the frame had me like….hmmmmm…🤔
