“Terastal Festival ex” Special Set Officially Revealed Starring the Eeveelutions!

Japan’s special Terastal Festival ex set has officially been revealed — starring the Eeveelutions! The set was first teased last week with the reveal of Tera Eevee ex.

Terastal Festival ex will release on December 6th in Japan. We first discovered its trademark on June 5th and posted it would feature the Eeveelutions on June 25th.

The set will contain 187 cards before secret rares.

Since this is Japan’s annual “High Class Pack” set, its main attraction will be its enormous amount of alternate art secret rares. For example, last year’s Shiny Treasure ex featured 190 cards in its main set and a whopping 170 secret rares. None have been revealed so far.

Each Terastal Festival ex booster pack will contain 10 cards instead of the usual five, including a guaranteed Pokemon ex. The larger packs, guaranteed hits, and secret rares are what define a “High Class Pack” set.

Terastal Festival will feature special reverse holo cards with a “cracked ice” layer and Poke Balls in the background.

As with all High Class sets, Terastal Festival ex‘s main set will mostly contain reprinted cards and maybe 15-30 brand new cards. This helps to ensure cards from the last year are available to Japanese players.

It will also include alternate arts that released first in other languages, such as Korea’s Ogerpon ex and our English prerelease promos.

So far, the brand new cards include:

Flareon ex – Fire – HP270

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn.

This month we also revealed Prismatic Evolution will be our special English set releasing on January 17th. Our set will undoubtedly use the cards from Terastal Festival ex and perhaps those from ex Starter Deck Generations.

We should get the official reveal of Prismatic Evolution next week, so stay tuned!

I’m on hopium for a cinderace sir(which we shouldn’t get) it would be so cool to have another cinderace variant in my deck then I can have full art, gold and sir and skip the normal one entirely

Magma Basis will still be in standard with this. Flareon ex could hit easy it's first attack in T1. Surging Sparks Eevee can evolve during first turn or first turn it's played
