“Azure Legends Tins” Revealed; “Junk” Pokemon ex Won’t Clog Up 2025 Sets!
The next set of tins will be named the “Azure Legends Tins” and will release on February 21st for $26.99 each.
They will feature either Kyogre ex, Dialga ex, or Xerneas ex; five booster packs; and a code card.
The three cards originate from Japan’s entry-level “ex Starter Deck Generations” decks.
It seems likely the “junk” Pokemon ex from the Generations decks will be dispersed into our tins throughout 2025. This would mitigate the problem of clogging a main set with them, especially since Owner’s Pokemon are on the horizon.
We know our Prismatic Evolutions set will feature 10 non-Stellar Pokemon ex. There are 18 in the Generations decks, so we know at least eight of them will be cut from Prismatic Evolutions. This could be the eight Legendary Pokemon.
If TPCi also cuts Pikachu, this would be enough material to make tins for the winter, spring, and summer. For example, maybe we’ll get “Yellow Legends Tins” in the spring with Pikachu, Tapu Koko, and Koraidon. Or “White Legends Tins” in the summer with Lugia, Reshiram, and Zacian.
If our 2025 tins indeed feature those Legendary Pokemon, we should see the non-Legendaries in Prismatic Evolutions:
