“Charizard ex Special Collection” Featuring Lenticular Charizard ex Card!
A new “Charizard ex Special Collection” will release on April 11th!
It will come with a new alternate art Charizard ex promo, a jumbo lenticular version of the same card, Charmander and Charmeleon as cosmos holofoil cards, five booster packs, and a code card.
The Charizard ex promo originally released last May in Japan’s Charizard ex and Chien-Pao ex Battle Master Decks.
When you move it back and forth, the lenticular jumbo card will transition from the new Charizard ex promo to the original Charizard ex from Obsidian Flames. This makes Charizard look like it’s going on the attack!
As posted a few weeks ago, we’ve received a couple of lenticular Pokemon cards over the years. In Japan, a Deoxys card released inside a special deck for 2004’s Destiny Deoxys movie. More recently, Pokemon’s marketing kits have also featured lenticular posters that change between cards (like Sylveon VMAX and Umbreon VMAX).
