“Hop’s Zacian ex Box” Releasing in March!

A new “Hop’s Zacian ex Box” will release on March 28th to tie-in to the release of Journey Together, which hits store shelves the same day. It will retail for $21.99.

The box will come with a foil promo card of Hop’s Zacian ex, a jumbo version of the same card, two foil cards of Hop’s Wooloo and Hop’s Dubwool, a photo sticker, four booster packs, and a code card.

Hop’s Zacian ex is listed as a promo card, so it will likely be an alternate art version we haven’t seen yet. This may also explain why the product image hasn’t been released, as Japan hasn’t revealed it yet.

We first learned the preliminary details of this product last month. It’s currently unclear what the “photo sticker” is.

Hop’s Zacian ex – Metal – HP230
Basic Pokemon

[C] Close Cleave: 30 damage. This attack also does 30 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

[M][M][M][C] Brave Slash: 240 damage. During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use Brave Slash.

When your Pokemon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: Grass (-30)
Retreat: 2

Hop’s Wooloo – Colorless – HP70
Basic Pokemon

[C][C][C] Smash Kick: 50 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Hop’s Dubwool – Colorless – HP120
Stage 1 – Evolves from Hop’s Dubwool

Ability: Challenge Horn
When you play this Pokémon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokémon during your turn, you may switch in 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon to the Active Spot.

[C][C][C] Headbutt: 80 damage.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Hopefully all of the decks are meta. Hop so far looks too be. We don't know enough about the others to know yet how good they'll be. If they good sell pre made decks for them and they are good then hopefully they'll be level 3 decks.

Hop looks like the best so far yeah, though I am gonna build Iono just for the rarity max vibes.

N seems underpowered unless there's like a really good ex not revealed yet. Zoroark doesn't really have any good attacks to copy

Hop and Iono look eh, we don’t know enough about Lillie and N yet tho

It doesn't really seem under powered as much as we just don't know enough. There won't be another ex revealed because it's confirmed each trainer is only getting 1 but if we get an N's Zekrom with a good attack or something else with a good attack then I think it could be good. It will all depend on what other cards they reveal.

If there is an N's Zekrom in this set, it wouldn't be a Dragon-type, based on the set list. There is a space between Iono's Electrode and Iono's Tadbulb, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Personally I could wait a set to have both as dragons.

Why would it being Dragon Type be better? It's going to ride the bench for Zoroark to copy it's attacks. I'd rather get it now. I also don't think there will be trainer overlap between sets. This set is for N, Hop, Iono, and Lillie and the next will focus on a new set of trainers including Cynthia

Oh I just think it would look better in the binder haha. Still, while I do want more attackers, I hope it's also something with a supportive ability because from the looks of it N is only going to have Trade. Which is fine, but still.
