“Prismatic Evolutions” Set Guide: Full Card List, Secret Rares, Cut Cards, Products, and More!
We now have the full list for our special Prismatic Evolutions set! It features 131 cards in its main set and 49 secret rares, for a total of 180 cards.
The main set list contains 131 cards, of which 55% are reprints from the past year. The other 45% are new cards from Japan’s Terastal Festival ex and ex Starter Deck Generations.
While we are receiving all of Terastal Festival ex‘s new cards in this set (and its products), we are only getting around 40 of the 90 new cards from the decks. The cut cards will be included in March’s Journey Together set or turned into promos.
There are three reverse holo sets for Prismatic Evolutions: normal reverse holos (108), Poke Ball reverse holos (100), and Master Ball reverse holos (67). Thankfully, the Poke Ball and Master Ball reverse holos feature a texture and shattered glass layer like the Japanese cards.
All cards in the main set, excluding Pokemon ex and ACE SPEC, are available in normal reverse holos and Poke Ball reverse holos. This includes Trainer cards.
Only the regular Pokemon in the main set, excluding Pokemon ex, are available in Master Ball reverse holos.
Making our set extra special this time, the eight Basic Energy can also be reverse holos! They are only “sheen” holos, meaning they have no other effects.
As usual, each booster pack has two reverse holo slots. (ACE SPEC cards are still housed in the first reverse holo slot.) If you’re lucky, you’ll pull a Poke Ball reverse holo in the first slot. Much rarer is a Master Ball reverse holo in the second slot. With this seeding it’s possible to pull a Poke Ball and Master Ball from the same pack.
In terms of cards cut from our English set, most of the Eeveelutions from Terastal Festival ex have been turned into cosmos holofoil promos for our set’s products:
Since those specific Eeveelution cards have been cut, our set replaces them with reprinted Eeveelutions from the last year and the Sylveon from ex Starter Deck Generations:
The same Espeon and Umbreon from Terastal Festival ex remain in our English set. This means except for them, Prismatic Evolutions and Terastal Festival ex have different sets of Eeveelution cards.
Our English set has 49 of the 50 secret rares from Terastal Festival ex, cutting only the “fruit dessert” Eevee ex. It will be turned into a promo for the “Prismatic Evolution Super-Premium Collection” releasing on May 16th. The second Eevee ex Special Illustration Rare from Terastal Festival ex still remains in our set.
Since our set also integrates some cards from ex Starter Deck Generations, we’re getting Poke Ball and Master Ball reverse holos of several cards that weren’t available to Japanese fans:
Prismatic Evolutions features the most Pokemon ex of any English set ever released: 55 total!
Since this a special set, you can only find its booster packs in boxed products. The first wave of products will release on January 17th. More products will release until as late as September 2025.

Product Availability & Demand
Prismatic Evolutions allocations have been severely cut to local stores, leading stores to limiting or even cancelling customer preorders.
In a statement posted to Twitter, TPCi announced they plan to print more Prismatic Evolutions “due to high demand impacting availability [at launch].”
The announcement is similar to past ones they’ve made when there’s been product shortages, like during the pandemic.
