“Lillie Premium Tournament Collection” Revealed for April!

As we posted last month, a new “Premium Tournament Collection” will release on April 25th — now revealed to feature Lillie’s Clefairy ex and Lillie’s Pearl!

This is the first time one of these collections will not feature a Supporter card. The full art Lillie’s Clefairy features alternate artwork that hasn’t released in Japan yet.

As usual, each collection will retail for $39.99 and come with:

  • 1 full-art foil card featuring Lillie’s Clefairy ex
  • 3 copies of Lillie’s Pearl
  • 65 card sleeves
  • A sturdy deck box
  • A large metallic coin
  • 2 coin condition markers
  • A photo sticker
  • 6 tournament-ready damage dice
  • 6 Pokémon TCG booster packs
  • A code card for Pokémon TCG Live

Previous “Premium Tournament Collections” featured Iono (2024), Klara and Cyrus (2023), and Marnie (2022).

Do... Do they think Lillie's Clefairy will be really popular?? Cause it won't be popular here, lmao. They should've just gone with Sada's Vitality because of how busted it is for Bolt and Moon.

Don't write that off yet. Still a 1-prize Tapu Koko with an ability that has interesting implications. Japan has its fair share of Ogerpon/Clefairy Area Zero box decks along the lines of Entei/Ogerpon during SCR, and more niche, Alakazam can now oneshot Bolt from behind a Mimikyu.

3 copies of lillie's pearl is crazy when most decks aren't even playing one.

They definitely anticipated a lot of people to play it since it hits both pult and bolt super effectively. I'm sure this product will still get bought out considering the current landscape but it still feels like a weird choice over, like, Arven or something.

sticker feels kinda lame and cheap if they did the same art as like an acrylic stand like the iono box this would be epic

also the coin is green?

It is fairly popular in Japan atm. A lot of decks playing at least one copy and tbf it's one of the best cards out of Battle Partners/Journey Together

In Japan, almost every deck is playing this rn, so I think it's a good choice, it's cool that they're also not just doing trainers now and are doing Pokémon too

Interesting that the two clefairy cards have different illustrators. Looks to me like they just had them change the model of clefairy then just paste it on top of the Lillie background. The worst part is they didn't even change the model, just used it for both.

Wish it came with a actual full art. Not that style of full art kuz those remind me of regular ol ex art

I’m not too surprised that they switched up the Tournament Premium Collection’s bundled items, there aren’t many cards that could think of that could need one.

That said I am disappointed that, considering the featured character and how quickly Best Buy’s preorders for the item sold out, that this might end up like another Marnie situation.

The more I look at that AI slop of Lillie posted above, the less and less sense it makes. Does she have four legs? Is she melting into the car seat? Is it still more interesting than the bland CGI that is this Lillie's Clefairy promo?
