Annihilape from The Glory of Team Rocket!

Annihilape, Primeape, and Mankey have been revealed from The Glory of Team Rocket! The set will release in Japan on April 18th and become part of May’s Destined Rivals.

Mankey – Fighting – HP70
Basic Pokémon

[F] Wild Kick: 30 damage. Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 1

Primeape – Fighting – HP110
Stage 1 – Evolves from Mankey

[F] Drag Off: Switch in 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon to the Active Spot. This attack does 30 damage to the new Active Pokémon.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

Annihilape – Fighting – HP150
Stage 2 – Evolves from Primeape

Ability: Vessel of Rage
If this Pokémon has 2 or more damage counters on it, attacks used by this Pokémon do 120 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

[F][F] Impact Blow 160 damage. During your next turn, this Pokémon can’t use Impact Blow.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

Combine with Emolga (TWM) which for one colorless energy does 10 damage base plus 10 damage to all benched Pokémon. Add Brute Bonnet (PAR), Ancient Booster capsule, and Binding Mochi to bring the total attack damage to 120+160+60 (340). Use Relicanth (TEF) so you can use Prime Ape’s Drag Off attack when you can’t use Impact Blow.

Arven searches your tools and items, which is how you find Rare Candies. Town Store + Arven will let you tutor for both the mochi and the booster capsule.

Annihilate has my expression when someone uses up the roll of toilet paper and does not replace it, leaving it for the next person (me).

Once we get a good enabler for self damage (sadly Gapejaw Bog & Damage Pump are f-block) this seems a like good memory attacker like Feraligatr, Drag Off with Vessel of Rage active can KO a benched Fez or Terapagos due to weakness and the two energy attack hits for 280 which deals with a lot, even more with the expert belt

120 more damage for 2 damage counters?
This is better than Feraligatr
feraligator is 2 damage counters for 150 damage or 0 damage counters for 170 damage (Munkidori if you didnt know).

Annihilape can't self activiate it's ability without the snow stadium so it's definately worse. It's also forced to be 130 hp (or 230 with lux cape) so it'll just die next turn. Feraligator can be 280 hp with lux cape so there's chances it can take a hit, otherwise it can opt to stall or move to bench.

Wait doable? We're at the point where Stage 2 Pokémon aren't a big problem anymore, and switch cards are to be honest a little hard to come by now. Munkidori can help out, it's really just building the damage onto the Annihilape.

Yes! I am also doing an AR/SAR Pokedex. Clodsire is also missing. I think there are like 18 that need one from Gen 9.

Really, I thought it is less? I remember the first stage dark dog, second stage ghost dog, 2 from the olives, finizen, the middle stage salt rock and some bugs?

I only register like whole lines that are missing one. And Glimmora Lokix and Annihilape are the ones, so thats 5 at least. Off the top of my head for like pokemon themselves I know there's cetoddle, charcadet too

1. Oink (916), 2. Nymble (919), 3. Lokix (920), 4. Pawmo (922), 5. Maushold (925), 6 & 7 (the olives, but I can't remember which one got it, the other two didn't). 8. Naclstack (933), 9. Gargancl (934), 10. Charcadet (935), 11. Tadbulb (938), 12. Maschiff (942), 13. Shroodle (944), 14. Brambleghast (947), 15. Capsakid (951), etc. I think Rellor didn't get one, Finizen, Glimmet and Glimmora, Houndstone, Annihilape, Clodsire. I think that should do it. About 20-22, I believe. More than I had originally guestimated.

Thanks Alex Hesketh. I thought Cetoddle was one, but wasn't sure so didn't add to my list. But yes, that's another one.
