Cynthia’s Milotic from “Heat Wave Arena”

Cynthia’s Milotic will appear in Heat Wave Arena, which releases on March 14th in Japan. The cards from the set will become part of our Destined Rivals set in May.

Cynthia’s Feebas – Water – HP30
Basic Pokémon

[C] Undulate: 10 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent’s next turn, prevent all damage from and effects of attacks done to this Pokémon.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 1

Fun fact: Undulate hasn’t appeared on a card since Seaking from Aquapolis in 2003!

Cynthia’s Milotic – Water – HP130
Stage 1 – Evolves from Cynthia’s Feebas

[W][C] Aqua Split: 60 damage. This attack also does 30 damage to 2 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

Honestly? This might have a home in Froslass spread decks. There's pretty negative synergy between this and Cynthia's Garchomp ex (wants you to max out on fighting energy) and Cynthia's Roserade (only buffs damage dealt to the active), so it doesn't really fit in a Cynthia's deck unless there's something crazy that they haven't revealed yet.

There are ways to deal a Budew, a Stage 1 that needs 2 energy is not it

We have a whole Elekid that can snipe Budew anywhere for zero energy and acts as a pivot.

And said Elekid survives the format rotation
 
sorta bummed only because its numeration makes me think we aren’t getting anything fun for Misty. still holding out for Corsola…
