New Print Runs of “Terastal Festival ex” and Other Sets Available in Japan This Week!
Pokemon Japan has been busy printing more products!
We can confirm that starting this weekend, freshly printed stock of Night Wanderer (originally released June 7th), Stellar Miracle (September 13th), Terastal Festival ex (December 6th), and Battle Partners (January 24th) will be available at Japan’s Pokemon Centers and other retailers. Some stores may take up to a week to get the product in.
We’re told the stock will not be as large as the original print runs, but it will not be small either.
Based on recent preorder listings, in April there will also be new stock of Paradise Dragona (September 13th) and Supercharged Breaker (October 18th) shipping to stores.
Sales of last week’s Heat Wave Arena are currently underway at physical Pokemon Center stores with a limit of 10 packs per person. Online sales were originally scheduled on their website for March 14th, the day of release, but the launch was postponed due to congestion and a glitch with the website’s credit card processing system. A lottery sale has been planned for a later date; details will be announced later.
As of today, the online Pokemon Center website lists only these sets in stock:
In January I wrote an article on how demand for Prismatic Evolutions was much higher than supply, causing severe shortages to stores. Two weeks later, TPCi announced it promised to print more Prismatic Evolutions “as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity” due to “high demand.”
In the past TPCi has usually taken six to nine months to print more product, so we might see more Prismatic Evolutions by the summer or fall. Currently, what little stock that exists is being sold for much higher than MSRP.
