PokeBeach Podcast: New Set “Inferno X” Coming, Restocks of “Prismatic Evolutions” Arriving!

This week we discuss a future set named “Inferno X,” new print runs of “Prismatic Evolutions” soon arriving, the first ever Pokemon TCG Pocket merchandise, new English products in May, and the reveal of “Destined Rivals!”

The PokeBeach podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and our YouTube channel.

torchic! enjoy this weeks episode! honestly I can see the wigglytuff resemblance! so far nothing in team rocket has excited me, I think most the art looks mid and the pokemon as well, hoping for something more that either looks better or is better competitively. Keep up the great work and have a good week!

Restocks usually mean price drops so I hope prices are about to plummet and the set be more accessible. Scalping/investing a children's card game is actually very sad.
Restocks, while they make prices drop, don't do it in the way you think it would. It will create a short decrease that'll maybe make things a bit more stable, but it won't create the Part C graph we all dream of. Not to be that person, but there is a line between scalping and investing. When we buy stuff for our collection, we are theoretically "investing" to sell (if applicable) at a later date. It's a very small line, but a line nontheless.

Oh I agree, I'm specifically talking about people buying cases at a time to resell or hold on to. Buying for the thrill of opening packs is why i do it, personally. And I actually play.

Welcome new guy to the hobby.
I was not talking about Prismatic. We are talking about Mega Pokemon here.
Evolutions a older set with Mega Charizard in it.
Restocks means you don't really now what your talking about but you have to respond like you know everything isnt it?

Your comment barely made sense so I'm going to try and respond as though it does and to what I think you were trying to say. From what I've gathered, you think I'm talking about prismatic and I never said a set name, so I was speaking in general. But you putting words into my mouth to make an irrelevant point and argument is actually hilarious.

To reiterate, people who buy cases of product for the sake of scalping/investing can eat a bag of Slowpoke tail because not only are the greedy, they are preventing people who don't/can't do that from enjoying the hobby as well. Though I don't there isn't anything wrong with investing in it and scalping can only happen if there is no product available at MSRP, it can all be excused if people didn't go overboard with it, imo. We shouldn't have to know what day a retailer restocks their product, let alone camp out the before they open just for a chance to get anything. It's ridiculous.
