“Prismatic Evolutions” and “151” Restocks Coming in May!

GameStop has re-listed three Prismatic Evolutions products on their website!

The Elite Trainer Box and Binder Collection will re-release on May 10th while the the Tech Sticker Collections will re-release on May 24th. All of them originally released in January.

The three products are listed slightly above retail price. In February GameStop announced customers would only be able to buy Pokemon TCG products in-store from now on.

Their website also shows the 151 Zapdos ex Box will re-release on May 24th. It comes with four packs of the set.

It’s currently unclear if restocks will be coming to other retailers, distributors, or countries around the same time.

TPCi announced in January they were working on printing more Prismatic Evolutions product and that it would be available at retailers as soon as possible. In the past it has usually taken them six to nine months to print more product, so this restock is happening much faster than expected.

As announced before, the Prismatic Evolutions Accessory Pouch Special Collection will release for the first time on April 25th. A few weeks later the Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection will release on May 16th.

An unrevealed Prismatic Evolutions Premium Figure Collection will also release on September 26th. It will include promos of Espeon ex and Umbreon ex.

1. Except that by adding product to the market they are bringing scalper prices down, so that's definitely helping the situation.
2. A retail outlet setting a price point is not even close to the same as scalping. There are legal definitions that differentiates scalping from selling, learn what words mean before you use them.
3. By selling at a higher retail price they are further reducing the possibility of profit for actual scalpers.
4. More product with a higher retail cost means very small margin for resellers to profit.
This is just more food for scalpers and "investors". Hence it won't change the market much. GameStop even admitted that they are scalpers as they sell "slightly" above MSRP.

So pretty much helping scalpers/flippers!! Now they know exactly which date they gotta camp 🏕️
I’m not a scalper or flipper, but I have Fridays off work, & with product so hard to find, I’m glad they shared the date, so I know when to camp. I hate that it’s come to this, but my daughter’s birthday is in June. I want her to have an SPC & I refuse to buy from scalpers. Anything for my kiddo!
