Poor Articuno, he missed the ex in both 151 and this set. Though if it makes him feel better, I did a quick google search and the pose in the art is a reference to Rocket's Articuno ex from gen 3, and I couldn't find references for the other 2.

Every trainer ex has gotten a sir so far.
I mean, there’s a first time for everything. The connecting illustration rare set in each Japanese expansion was always an ex line until Tinkaton in Paldean Treasures, and was at least all Pokémon until the Perrin and Hisuian Growlithe. The last Japanese set didn’t even have connecting illustration rares.
Speaking of which… no SIR Supporter in Journey Together. That’s another pattern broken.

Rocket’s Collector on steroids, Rocket’s Skyla, Rocket’s Capturing Aroma… honestly? Rocket’s Collector is already enough to make this deck work. Everything else is just added bonus. The engine looks ridiculously good.

The crobat is close enough, welcome back RS inteleon vmax
That card was one of my favorite pokemon ever printed and I never even got to use it in its prime because it was abnormally expensive in PTCGO. I want them to reprint that card's text some day...maybe on Mega Lopunny ex?

Forget Rocket’s Collector, this is Rocket’s Mentor. Remember Team Rocket’s Receiver? We almost got a new Holon engine, and now Big Pokémon Trafficking is gatekeeping it.

I’d consider TR’s Crobat ex a combination between that and the Crobat from Phantom Forces, the amount of damage dealt and the amount of Pokémon it deals said damage to matches Inteleon VMAX but what triggers the Ability is taken from Phantom Forces Crobat.

Heck, Phantom Forces Golbat and Team Rocket’s Golbat have the exact same Sneaky Bite Ability.

We got Zapdos SIR in 151, Articuno IR in JT, and now it seems we may get a Moltres SIR in DR. Neat. Also, nice, we might be getting an SIR of Crobat as well.
