Prepare for trouble! We now have the full English set list for Destined Rivals!
The set will release on May 30th. Prereleases will take place from May 17th to May 25th.
The set contains 244 cards: 182 cards in the main set and 62 secret rares. It features Owner's Pokemon for Team Rocket, Misty, Ethan, Steven, Cynthia, Marnie, and Arven.
The Illustration Rare of Team Rocket's Wobbuffet has been cut from our set and turned into a promo for the Elite Trainer Box. Marnie's Morpeko and Steven's Beldum have also been cut and put into the Marnie and Steven Rival Battle Decks.
This is the first time in years our set doesn't feature prerelease promos with alternate art. They are all direct reprints from the set with a stamp. Our prerelease promos always pull their artwork from Japan's annual "High Class Pack" set, so this may indicate there isn't one this year, perhaps because the Mega Evolution block starts in the fall rather than January.
Thanks goes to Steffenka for compiling the set list!

Upcoming Sets
Our next English sets are Black Bolt & White Flare, which will be our first-ever split sets. They will release on July 18th as two special sets. Combined, they will feature all 156 Unova Pokemon. In Japan, they will release on June 6th.
The following sets are slated to release in Japan:
It is. I have no intention of opening it, and most of the cards I want are from heat wave arena, not glory of team rocket.
and yes I can get product just fine, I chose to skip the set myself. Watching the chaos unfold for this set is gonna DEFINETLY be a interesting thing to experience.
Yeeeeeeess the TM Machine! That's going to make tool discard decks more consistent. Electrode, Melmetal and Garbodor finna pop off. That would go nuts with Rotom VSTAR if it were still in format.

I have my list of must haves! Singles all the way for me, but good luck to those who can afford to purchase and are able to access product
Making Team Rocket's Mimikyu one of the pre-release/build and battle promos in a set without any Tera Pokemon certainly was a choice.
I am not complaining considering I am a big Mimikyu fan though, having one of the Pre-release promos only attack literally do nothing in the format seems like an oversight.
It is not (just) scalpers who are charging 150-200% retail on this set. You can't order ANY product for this set from your normal retailers without seeing a VAST markup on ALL products.
I blame Pokemon for this, all because of the Eevee set. They "said" they were going to be printing "plenty" of product and yet every retailer cannot get a full shipment, for this set as well as Prismatic.
And so, because of the supposed demand, every retailer is marking up prices much too high, because THIS set will NOT have anything of value when compared to the hyper inflation placed on the Eevee evolution IR cards.
