All 176 “Black Bolt” and “White Flare” Secret Rares and Pull Rates Revealed!

The secret rares from Japan's Black Bolt and White Flare sets are now being posted to social media by Japanese fans! The dual sets release in Japan on Friday. As posted before, they feature every single Unova Pokemon.

In addition to regular cards, each of the 156 Unova Pokemon will get an Illustration Rare or Special Illustration Rare. This marks the first time every Pokemon in a set will get this treatment.

All 172 of the regular main set cards were revealed and translated last week. Check out the link to see them.

As posted before, each non-ex Pokemon will get a Poke Ball reverse holo and Master Ball reverse holo. Regular Trainers will also get Poke Ball reverse holos.

The final secret rares of the sets, Reshiram ex and Zekrom ex, have a new rarity named "BWR." This presumably stands for "Black and White Rare," referencing their monochromatic coloring. A separate Victini promo will also use this style.

In English the sets will release on July 18th under the same names. They will be split in two, a first for the English TCG. The English sets will come with three sets of reverse holos: regular reverse holos, Poke Ball RHs, and Master Ball RHs.

Pull Rates

A booster box of 20 packs comes with four Illustration Rares, one Master Ball reverse holo, and either a full art or Special Illustration Rare.

It's possible to pull an Illustration Rare and Special Illustration Rare from the same pack.

This set will be the first to feature "Deluxe Packs" that come with 35 cards instead of seven. They come with a guaranteed Illustration Rare. Otherwise, we're not sure about their pull rates yet.
