15th Anniversary Premium Set

Base Set was first released in Japan on October 20th, 1996, and to celebrate the TCG’s fifteenth anniversary this year, a special anniversary set is being released on the same day! It features the full art Reshiram and Zekrom cards from the first Black & White set with a golden “Fifteenth Anniversary” stamp, two packages of 65 card sleeves (one set is gold, the other silver), a double-sided rubber playmat, a golden coin, and acrylic damage counters and status markers. It will be sold at Pokemon Centers for 3,990 yen. (Around $52, due to the high quality materials? Yikes. It probably cost them >$5 to make it. I think I’ll pass!)
