‘Pokemon Champions League’ Tournament Promos Announced!
“Pokemon Champions League” tournaments will be taking place in Japan between now and April; the players who perform best will be invited to Japan’s Nationals where they will then compete to be invited to Worlds. Think of it as Japan’s Regionals tournaments.
Every participant will receive a Togedemaru promo. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive new Victory Medal promos. If you win several battles in the tournament’s side events, you can also win a new Choice Band promo. Thanks goes to Vincent for the translations!
This is the first time since its initial release in 2004 that Victory Medal has a new effect, though the card hasn’t been used in Japan since 2010.

Choice Band – Trainer
ItemPokemon Tool: Attach a Pokemon Tool to 1 of your Pokemon that doesn’t already have a Pokemon Tool attached to it.
The Pokemon this card is attached to does 30 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokemon-EX or Active Pokemon-GX.
You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).
