Blastoise and Venusaur ‘V Battle Deck’ Lists Revealed!
The deck lists for the Blastoise and Venusaur V Battle Decks have been revealed!
Although these new decks are branded as “V Battle Decks,” they retain the same build formula as theme decks — high counts of Pokemon and Energy cards paired with low counts of useful Trainer cards. We previously reported that it appeared theme decks had been discontinued as there were no theme decks associated with the Battle Styles set. It appears that these V Battle Decks will be their direct successors.
They each retail for $14.99 and will release on February 5th. As posted before, each 60-card deck comes with a coin, a paper playmat, damage counters, a deck box, a PTCGO code card, and guides.
The two-pack bundle, which retails for $29.99, will additionally feature an eight-card Trainer pack. It includes two copies each of Boss’s Orders (Lysandre), Quick Ball, Turbo Patch, and Marnie. Both Boss’s Orders are holo.
Venusaur V – Grass – HP220
Basic Pokemon[G][C] Leaf Drain: 50 damage. Heal 30 damage from this Pokemon.
[G][G][C] Double-Edge: 190 damage. This Pokemon does 30 damage to itself.
When your Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Blastoise V – Water – HP220
Basic Pokemon[W] Water Gun: 30 damage.
[W][W][W] Torrent Cannon: 200 damage. This Pokemon can’t use Torrent Cannon during your next turn.
When your Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 3
