‘Silver Tempest’ Prerelease Promos Listed!

An update to Pokemon.com’s promo legality status page has revealed the prerelease promos for Silver Tempest. They are Sunflora (SWSH269), Rapidash (SWSH270), Kirlia (SWSH271), and Archeops (SWSH272).

Sunflora – Grass – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Sunkern

[C][C] Brilliant Beam: 10+ damage. You may discard up to 3 Energy cards from your hand. This attack does 70 more damage for each card discarded in this way.

Weakness: Fire (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

Rapidash – Fire – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Ponyta

Ability: Heat Boost
Once during your turn, you may discard an [R] Energy from your hand. If you do, until the end of your turn, attacks of your [R] Pokemon do 30 more damage to your opponent’s Active Pokemon.

[R][C] Fire Mane: 60 damage.

Weakness: Water (x2)
Resistance: None
Retreat: 1

Kirlia – Psychic – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Ralts

Ability: Refinement
You must discard a card from your hand in order to use this Ability. Once during your turn, you may draw 2 cards.

[P][C] Slap: 30 damage.

Resistance: None
Retreat: 2

Archeops – Colorless – HP150
Stage 2 – Evolves from Archen

Ability: Primal Turbo
Once during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 2 Special Energy cards and attach them to 1 of your Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck.

[C][C][C] Speed Wing: 120 damage.

Weakness: Lightning (x2)
Resistance: Fighting (-30)
Retreat: 1

The cards come from a variety of Japanese sets: Sunflora comes from Lost Abyss, Rapidash and Archeops come from Paradigm Trigger, and Kirlia comes from Incandescent Arcana. Our promos will feature alternate artwork that has not yet been revealed.

The promos will be available within the Silver Tempest Build & Battle Box as well as the Build & Battle Stadium.

Silver Tempest set will release on November 11th. The cards will become legal for tournament play on November 25th.
