Tinkaton Promo Giveaways Coming to Gamestop and Best Buy, But Later Than Usual

As we posted a few weeks ago, Gamestop will be giving away a Tinkaton promo for the release of Paldea Evolved when a customer makes $15 worth of Pokemon TCG purchases.

TPCi has now announced the promotion will start June 23rd. This is the first time the promotion is officially starting later than the set’s release. We’re not sure if this will become a new trend or if Tinkaton’s promo was simply delayed like Dragonite’s, forcing the date to change.

What’s more, TPCi lists that a Tinkaton promo will also be given away at Best Buy on June 23rd. We missed this for Scarlet & Violet, but Best Buy also gave away their own Lechonk promo with different artwork and a set stamp in the corner of the artwork. It was the first time Best Buy held their own card promotion. (And as usual, EB Games had the same card as Gamestop but with their store’s logo.)

There’s currently only one Tinkaton print in Japan. Presumably the stores will have the same card but with different stamps. We’ll get photos of the cards closer to release, so stay tuned!
