“Pokemon TCG Pocket” to Add Trading Feature in January, New Booster Packs

In an open letter to the community, the Pokemon TCG Pocket operations team has announced trading will come to the game in January. The feature will only allow “certain cards” to be traded. However, they will “gradually expand the selection of cards” over time.

It was also announced new booster packs will be added to the game by the end of the year.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell that's about. This shouldn't be hard, just make so that you can trade cards of the same rarities for one another, done.
 
I think that by the end of the staggered updates, you’ll only be able to trade the same rarity to prevent scammers. (Ehhem scarlet and violet surprise trades ehhem)
 
It will be really annoying if ex cards are the ones that are not available to trade at the start and are the ones that will be "gradually" brought in. I'm pretty sure they're the ones most people want to trade for first 😂
 
They marketed the game with trading, but they fully realize that, if players are able to trade for their favorite cards, they won't be spending money trying to open boosters. I fully expect this will be limited only to the lowest rarities.

This, on top of people selling the rarest cards for real life monetary value on sites like eBay, which is something you'd definitely want to avoid
 
No way that the random mobile spin off Pokemon Trading Card Game is getting trading before the actual digital TCG.

I hope trading is easy to do and not too limiting since crafting cards takes forever. The pack openings are also so bizarre. I will get 10 of one uncommon and 0 of another. I have 4 Artacunos and zero Charmanders.

And anything past the 2nd ex is useless. I'll gladly trade my extra exs away.
 
As right now the game is a bore, game play and collection wise...
Games feel a lot same same but different and Max. 3 booster a day is a joke.
