McDonald’s “Dragon Discovery” Now Available in the U.S., Full Set List, Earn Pocket Rewards!

As we revealed last week, the McDonald’s “Dragon Discovery” promotion starts today in the United States! It will run from January 21st until February 24th.

Each Happy Meal will come with a 4-card booster pack containing one holo card. As usual, there are 15 cards in the set. They are all reprints from past sets, but with new McDonald’s numbering. The holos are printed on the “confetti” holofoil paper used exclusively for McDonald’s sets.

If you use the McDonald’s app to purchase your Happy Meal, you’ll receive a code you can use in Pokemon TCG Pocket to redeem rewards. They include 24x Pack Hourglasses and 12x Wonder Hourglasses.

This year there will be four Happy Meal boxes featuring Charizard, Dragonite & Pikachu, Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon. Previously, they were always Pikachu boxes.

The full set list is as follows:

  • #001: Charizard
  • #002: Pikachu (holo)
  • #003: Miraidon (holo)
  • #004: Jigglypuff
  • #005: Hatenna
  • #006: Dragapult
  • #007: Quagsire
  • #008: Koraidon (holo)
  • #009: Umbreon
  • #010: Hydreigon (holo)
  • #011: Roaring Moon (holo)
  • #012: Dragonite (holo)
  • #013: Eevee
  • #014: Rayquaza
  • #015: Drampa (holo)

The carton containing the booster pack also comes with a double-sided poster and stickers. On the reverse side, you attach included stickers to complete the Pokemon. There are several versions available.

Can we just buy the packs by themselves?
In the past it depends on the location. Sometimes you can buy them separately, sometimes you have to buy at least one Happy Meal to get more packs, sometimes you have to buy a Happy Meal for each pack. The latter is more common in my experience here in SoCal.

They should make a rule only a kid can get one with a happy meal.
And if there are any left donate them to ronald mc donalds house

They should be available for everyone regardless of age. But limits should exists so as to fairly distribute them.
i disagree mc donalds toys should be for kids with a happy meal.
There is no reason that can justify a adult buying a happy meal for himself or the cards that belong in it. Do we not have enough Pokemon cards? Or do we really need the reprint of a card we don't care about with a special foil? No we don't it's for kids don't ruin everything for them.

Okay, so alternatively what you want is people using their kids to get card bulk from McDonalds? Because that is what would happen if what you asked for came to pass. Me personally, I just want the Dragonite holofoil. Hopefully one will turn up locally.

the last time they did this, my store wouldnt let me buy the toy separately. then they said we will only sell it in a happymeal, and we will only sell you a happymeal if you bring a child in with you. they then proceeded to deny my whole order.

If your getting it, please be nice and get a reasonable among of happy meals for lunch/dinner for yourself/kid

Just asked if I could buy a pack separately and the girl working cheerfully said “yeah to get the toy only like just an extra dollar or so” i said “oh great I can do that” and I though she meant I could get it for a dollar but it was actually $8 something **the cost of the meal + 1.50$** for a NO FOOD happy meal 🤣 so I was like “who does that?!” And she was like “I think they just want people to buy the food…” SO I DID 🫠 and it was like $6 and change instead … truly a time to be alive 🙃

Genuinely why do you care so much? Adults buy happy meals if they’re hungry but don’t want a lot of food anyway, so why does it matter?
