All “Pokemon Day” 2025 TCG Promotions Detailed, Sylveon Promo a League-Exclusive

February 27th’s “Pokemon Day” will see a couple of celebrations for the Pokemon TCG!

The Prismatic Evolutions 2-pack blister will release at stores on February 21st for $9.99. It will come with two packs of Prismatic Evolutions. This is the first time we’re getting a Pokemon TCG product specifically for Pokemon Day.

Its Eevee promo will be printed as a cosmos reverse holo! Only a handful of cards have been printed like this before.

In the UK, you will receive the promo by itself if you spend £29.99 on Pokemon TCG products at the following retailers. The promotion will run from February 17th to March 27th.

  • Smyths Toys Superstores
  • HMV
  • Eason
  • Waterstones
  • Ryman
  • Harrods
  • Hamleys
  • Selfridges
  • Ken Black
  • WH Smith
  • GAME
  • Forbidden Planet

Some hobby stores will also receive the promos.

As posted before, select Pokemon Leagues will be holding a “Pokemon Day” celebration on February 27th. The event varies by League, but can include tournaments, friendly battles, and how-to-play sessions.

Leagues will be giving out an exclusive holo Sylveon promo with a “Pokemon Day 2025” stamp, while supplies last. The promo will not be available anywhere else.

League giveaways will also include demo decks of Pikachu ex and Charizard ex, various Pokemon TCG accessories, and the promo cards from the Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest 2024. The three promos will be packaged together.

Use the event locator on Pokemon.com to find a participating League near you.

The Illustration Contest promos will also be available at the Pokemon Center starting February 21st, GameStop starting February 27th, and Best Buy starting February 27th. The three promos will be packaged together.

For the Pokemon Centers, use code “draw2024us,” “draw2024ca,” or “draw2024uk” at checkout to receive the cards (depending on your country). If you make a return, it will have to include the promos to get a full refund.

At GameStop and Best Buy, you will have to spend $15 on Pokemon TCG products to receive the cards.

In Europe, the promos will be given out at “participating retailers.” TPCi has not provided a list of these retailers.

I really do want these illustration promos. I've been planning on getting them with a Clodsire plush for my girlfriend, but I'm really not looking forward to the site breaking tomorrow because this $150,000,000,000 company can't maintain a functional website whenever a product drops because of how ravenous everyone is.

Can we go back a decade? I miss this hobby a decade ago when this kind of stuff never happened.

I have some faith, the other promos they do on the Pokémon center website usually don’t sell out super fast (plz don’t Jynx me)
 
At least these Promos are (supposedly) running all year so they should have a pretty large amount of them. Good luck on Eevee or Sylveon though

I heard that the queue system gave users an actually reasonable 5 minute window for Journey Together Pre-Orders recently so we may have a pretty decent shot at the promos.
(Just have notifications on)
 
Are all the „Europe“ shops just in the UK? I can never find information on where to get them in Germany as Pokémon center does not ship there ..
 
Oh woah these release tomorrow??? I was just at a Barnes and Noble and they had these out. No wonder they weren’t sold out. (They were also limited one per customer which thank god)
 
Can we stop with all these store promos in Europe please? We've been getting way too many lately. The ones that get pulled from USA exclusive boxes feel so redundant to me, like, why not just release the box over here?
At least this might make the Eevee more accessible over here. (I'm coping, aren't I?)

as usual b&n getting overlooked by the community and actually having stock because of it lol

oh yeah b&n has been really good with prismatic stock. still gotta show up early in the morning tho and ofc retailers love to put out product on thursdays one day before street date in my experience lmao so it's sold out once it's actually supposed to be stocked
