11th Movie News
EDIT: Corrected some information about DP5.
Lots of DP5 Translations and Images – We now have almost twenty translations and images for [DP5: Temple of Anger, Cry from the Mysterious] (all on one convenient page that took over four hours to create!). Click the aforementioned link for a full-blown DP5 page with translations, images, set lists, theme deck lists, and set wallpaper. There is a “Quick Links” section on the top that will help you jump down to certain sections on the page.
The eight LV.X’s in the set include Mewtwo, Gliscor, Magnezone, Rhyperior, Porygon-Z, Uxie, Azelf, and Mesprit. We have translations and images for four of the cards.
Even though we were promised by the official Japanese Pokemon card website that all known Pokemon would be in card form by DP5 (the last Diamond and Pearl set), Kadabra was last a card in [Skyridge]. It seems the Uri Geller curse will remain in place.
To discuss the set, check out this forum thread.
If you are to post any of our translations on other forums for discussion purposes, please provide a link back to the above page. Thanks go to Bangiras for the card translations and PMJ for translating the set and theme deck lists!
New 11th Pokemon Movie Details – Text and information from the March issue of Coro Coro has found their way to the internet (still no scans), and new details regarding Giratina and the Bouquet from the Icy Sky, Shaymin have been revealed.
As posted above, the magazine confirmed Shaymin’s role in the movie through the final title. It also stated that Giratina will feature two forms in the movie – its normal form, as seen in the Diamond and Pearl games (and to the right), and an “origin” form, which it becomes when traveling between different dimensions (we do not know anything about this form). Since the movie will involve Ash and Dawn being pulled into a different dimension, we will undoubtedly see Giratina’s “origin” form for quite some time. No new details were revealed about Regigigas, which will be featured in the movie as well.
A picture of Ash’s Turtwig and Chimchar were shown in the magazine, still showing them as unevolved. This may not hold true when the movie is released, but it is a good indication they will stay in their basic forms at least up until July when the movie is released.
Brock has still yet to be seen in regards to the movie, which was not the case for the 10th movie’s pre-promotional material, or for previous movies in which he was part of the main cast. In the teaser trailer, he was noticeably absent, and in the magazine, he is not mentioned (at least from the text released on the internet). Could this mean he will not be part of the main cast when this movie is released? It’s still too early to say, as with Ash’s Turtwig and Chimchar, but there is a good indication…
