Welcome to my page!
I am known as Iskisdra, by some also called Kent which is my real life and previous online name. I was born on 11 June 1995 and come from the Netherlands.
I am introverted, calm and highly empathic. I generally tend to be quiet and prefer complete silence.
Art is a very important medium for me to express myself into. I enjoy working on both traditional and digital art and my favor goes to drawing animals and fantasy creatures in a realistic style.
The creature I draw which is also called Iskisdra is what represents me. It runs deeper for me in spiritual ways than being just a representation, as Iskisdra feels for me as being my whole self. The artworks I create of him tend to come from deep within and usually reflects something I have been through or contains an important message for myself.
Besides that I also enjoy to make art for others and of any realistic animal. I love all sorts of animals and don’t have a set preference for any species. Sometimes a certain animal species or individual speaks more to me at a time and that is often when I feel inspired to make art of them. I get a lot of my inspiration from the animals I help taking care of at a petting zoo I work at.

I have been drawing ever since I was little, but began to get more serious in it by setting goals for myself to improve in 2010. My main goal was to be able to draw realism with my own style. Through the years I’ve been working towards that goal by learning techniques on my own and from various online tutorials and helpful feedback. I’ve never taken any art lessons but am open for any suggestions and critique to improve further.
I also enjoy to write and have written numerous stories in the past. Currently I write through roleplaying at my forum, Forest Spirit.
