I'm old. I started playing pokemon since it first came out. I played the red/blue version and got hooked ever since I caught a caterpie and it evolved into metapod.
I've bought and played ever generation since the first (my first version was Yellow version) and ever time I've either lost or had my game stolen up until X&Y. Consequently I've also decided around this time to spend less money on video games. I still collect the cards though and want to get into competitive play which ultimately requires me to join communities that play the TCG.
