C C Clover Jul 28, 2013 I wasnt able to respond to your super rod question in the forum for some reason, but I'm quite certain it's ANY combination of pokemon/energy. So 3 pokemon would work, so would 2 pokemon and 1 energy, and so on. Good luck ^^
