So I finally reached a point in my procrastination that made me decide to write one of these to put off doing my online sociology class stuff. Anyway, Ollo and welcome to my profile (whoever will read this, I have no idea). I’m somewhat new to Pokebeach, but I’ve been around the chatroom far longer than on the actual forum. It took a lot for my friends (namely TheGuy and DNA) to convince me to finally join since I was afraid of forums, but since joining I’ve had fun.

About Me:

I’m sixteen and have finally finished my sophomore year of high school making me an upper classman as soon as school starts back up. I love to tell stories, so be prepared. I’ve lived in sunny AZ for fifteen years, but just last year my mom put a ‘surprise-but-not-total-surprise-move’ on my family. For a ton of reasons, my mom got a new job that moved my family of six (mom, dad, me, and three younger brothers) all the way to the Netherlands.

My mom wasn’t very tactful in breaking the news (seriously, no skills at all). I had just returned from a church camp (you know, the whole get-away-from-technology-and-the-world-to-get-closer-to-the-spirit kind?) so when I returned to my mom smiling and saying “I’ve got some news!” and that news being we were moving to the Netherlands, I was shocked. Namely because I had no idea WHERE the Netherlands was!

My youngest brother was convinced we were moving to Never Never Land and that Peter Pan would be our next door neighbor. We never broke the news to him, he is still convinced that Peter Pan lives here but his house is a few hours north since we live in the tri-border area (Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands).

I went from a nerd school in AZ (another random fact, I’m a bit of a nerd. It happens when you read a ton –I won an award in 2nd grade for reading the most words out of the entire school-) to an International Military School in a foreign continent. The move has thrown a ton of new things at us. I kept up a family blog about the move for quite some time until my other writings took over.

Summary: I write, live in a foreign country where everything is still pretty foreign, I attend an International High school, I am a pretty weird person, and I have a published book out there.

Personality wise my friend tells me that I’m too nice for my own good. My office staff at my school love me and besides the perk of candy whenever I want, it can be a major pain. I am always doing them favors and have ended up as the VP of NHS, President of Student 2 Student (a service group), and a member with a large voice but no official title in Student Council –Not to mention President of the Writers’ Workshop because that was completely my own doing-.

Anyway, besides that I can be rather weird and I tend to be more on the cheerful side of things and even though I LOVE talking I tend to be a very good listener –or at least I assume I am because a ton of people come to me when they need advice or just need someone to complain to--.

I love collecting quotes and sayings that aren’t always the most normal sayings that people like to gather. For example: “Before you insult someone; walk a mile in their shoes, that way, you are a mile away and you have their shoes!”, “I thought about being sane, but this seemed like more fun!”, and “When life gives you lemons, make applesauce, and make people wonder how you did it.”

My three brothers and I form a very unique group and I love my weird family. I am the one girl, I have an interesting set of fears (actually the phobias of everyone in my family are out of the norm, but there is a story behind every one of them), and as people tell me “I attract weirdness”. My life is always filled with things out of the norm.

If you ever find me on chat and want a good story to brighten your day, I’m your person :p I have a ton and they are all true.

My favorite is the one that ends with my friend saying: “WOW! Your house is haunted with, like, REAL people!!” but that story is pretty long.

Well, bye?
