On one hand, Huntail can be kinda cute for GLC with all the water energy acceleration and hydro pump style attackers... on the other hand, probably better to just run cards like Starmie, Nessa, Super Energy Retrieval, etc etc... especially since the ability can by bypassed by damage counter...

And their games on all fronts (mainline games, TCG games, etc etc) have quality issues. I think the anime is the only area where they don't have notable issues? I wouldn't know though, I only watched until BW.

Was this balanced around the BW era?

Can you imagine if this was Furret's card during Neo Genesis? The world as we know it would be a very different place... one with PTSD of Furret.

I always appreciate them doing gimmicky stuff over no effort bulk when designing cards, even if they ultimately end up seeing no real play.

Really wish Moltres ex was on the rare pick instead of Arcanine ex, since the former is the main way fire decks function outside of Rapidash + Blaine... which I guess at least it's nice for F2P that both of those are on the bonus pick.

The Regi deck one was really good when VMAX were more common and still sees play here and there. Could even Thorton into this one in that deck if they really want to.

That Ogerpon looks like all of the other full art and illustration ones. Gholdengo is cool, but not as cool as the OG Illustration... no bias obviously =)

Lilligant is pretty sweet... lord knows grass attackers need all the help they can get. Blaziken isn't bad at all, especially since it can accelerate to anything, active or bench, fire-type or not. Sylveon is great as a 1 of inclusion in any eeveelution ex decks that can use psychic energy...
