It did. Main set is 131 cards. Then 12 ultra rare Supporters, 32 SIRs, and 5 gold cards.
Puts the set at 180 cards, not counting the Master Ball rev holos.
Doubt it. Thus far, TPCi has shown very little interest in making the Worlds locations match up with the region.
When they had the opportunity to have Worlds in NY for Unova, they didn't.
When they had the opportunity to have Worlds in France for Kalos, they didn't.
When they had the...
I have always hated these products. It's always stock photos on bland backgrounds. The worst thing about this is that there is actually good official artwork out there that TPCi just refuses to use.
There was a rather distinct chance that this could have happened anyway. Same thing happened to people who planned to go to NAIC, but couldn't get into the main event or get a spectator badge.
My theory is that TCPi really only wanted to put a brief moratorium on Staff promos until the supply chain was normalized and events could start back up.
Before they stopped making the promos, Judges and Organizers like myself were basically at the mercy of the kindness of the LGS to give us...
The distinction made here is an awkward one. Gladion doesn't tell you to flip anything; it tells you to "look".
You are correct that Greedy Dice and Jirachi Prism Star do not activate with Gladion because you are not taking them as face-down Prize cards. In Pokemon, "taking Prizes" is a...
Weakness and Resistance are gameplay mechanics and thus are not effects.
Anything that changes a weakness or resistance isn't an effect that can be ignored either.
Because Gengar is part poison type, which makes it weak to ground types. And ground types are represented by fighting types in the TCG.
Yeah...things get awkward.
I'm not sure if you are confirming what I already said or not understanding...because I already mentioned that the "Professor's Research" and "Boss's Orders" cards were named this way to avoid future issues.
To put it bluntly, I think TPC is just being cheeky by using Professor Juniper and...
Okay..."Professor Juniper" and "Professor's Research" are two different cards. Same with "Boss's Order" and "Lysandre".
Nothing is being "overwritten" because the names are completely different. Having the same effect but a different name doesn't make a card legal for use (Standard or otherwise).
This was answered in the link that I posted:
"From now on, instead of giving the card a new name each time, the name Professor's Research will be used. If the card is updated in the future, the new professor's name will appear in the upper-right corner of the card, but the card name will remain...
How this mechanic works was announced before Sword and Shield was released as part of the overall changes coming to the TCG in this block. This change was made to avoid having to make new clauses in the rules regarding certain cards that have maintained a certain mechanic, e.g. having to tell...
If you want your mind blown, this Pikachu would be the 16th Pikachu promo for this block, since there are two Kanazawa's Pikachu cards.
If you include the 3 Pikachu promos released by TPCi, then that numbers increases to 19.
